Marketing / online brochure

This, as it implies, is opted for by companies that want a web presence and want to use their website as a point of reference and online brochure. This type of website is usually suited to businesses that offer a service or want to advertise products, rather than acting as an online shop.

Our websites are based around using a Content Management System (also referred to as a "CMS"). This enables our clients to update and alter their own website within a given framework. The advantage of this is that they can keep their website up-to-date with changes in their business without requiring advanced I.T. skills to code the underlying web pages.

E-commerce

Websites that allow products to be purchased online are referred to as "e-commerce" websites.

Our e-commerce websites also use a Content Management System. This not only allows the list of products on the website to be easily updated, but maintains a list of customers that have registered with the website, allows orders to be processed and reports on sales activity.

E-commerce websites are linked to payment gateways, allowing credit card payments to be taken online. For advanced e-commerce websites, we are able to create real-time links to in-house stock/accounting systems. This allows your in-house software to be kept synchronised with the online system, reducing the workload associated with running an e-commerce website.
